Coleus blumei Hybrid is one of the most commonly grown Coleus. Here at the greenhouse we use this Coleus for all kinds of experiments for Introductory Botany. It is mainly used for photosynthesis experiments and hormone experiments.
Coleus 'Burgundy Sun' has an improved tolerance to high light intensities and a higher heat tolerance than most Coleus. The foliage is a very attractive burgundy shade and it keeps its color throughout the season.
