(Team's translation: since long i was searching for information regarding aakash chameli, that is of buchache ful (flower of cork tree). i found it incidently on this site. this tree is very near to our house, the flowers almost fall at our doorstep..

Chinese Phellodendron, Chinese Cork Tree fel-o-DEN-dron chi-NEN-sis
Deciduous tree, to 35 ft (10 m) tall and 40 ft (12 m) wide, spreading horizontal. Bark dark grayish brown, thin, not corky.

It is also called the Cork Tree, as an inferior cork is processed from its corky bark. In the cooler months tree blooms in the night and early in the morning; fragrant flowers falling and carpeting the ground around.
