Euphorbia lambii, also sometimes called the Tree Euphorbia[1], is a species of spurge native to La Gomera in the Canary Islands.[2][3] Like many Euphobias, parts of the plants are poisonous if ingested.

Hi Ranee, Poinsettias (Euphorbia pulcherima) were first brought into the United States in 1825 by Joel Robert Poinsett,while he was serving as the first U.S. ambassador to Mexico. He found the plants growing on a hillside near Taxco, Mexico.

Euphorbia amygdaloides 'Purpurea' has an upright, 12-inch-tall growth habit with rosette-patterned leaves that turn to reddish purple in cold temperatures.
