Honeysuckles are arching shrubs or twining vines in the family Caprifoliaceae, native to the Northern Hemisphere.
Fly honeysuckle leaves are ciliate -- they have a fringe of hairs on the edges.
Cape honeysuckle is a fast growing, scrambling shrub which may grow up to 2-3m high and spread more than 2.5m. Tecomaria capensis is an evergreen plant in warm climate areas but loses its leaves in colder areas.
Amur honeysuckle is a deciduous shrub growing 8 to 10-feet tall with numerous branches arising from a central crown.
