Kalanchoe (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana) is a popular houseplant typically available for sale during late winter and spring months. It is a durable flowering potted plant requiring very little maintenance in the home or office.

I happened to buy a kalanchoe blossfeldiana by chance at a local wal-mart in February. I placed it out on my porch, watered it and it continued to bloom several different colors, pinks oranges, reds, yellows. Then all the flowers stopped.
