HI, I live in Canada, near Ottawa Ontario. I need some information on if or how to prepare honeysuckle for the winter. We are famous for our winter and I have no idea how to do it. If you could please help me i would be grateful.

This native honeysuckle should not be confused with the highly invasive Japanese honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica) which, since its introduction here, has become one of our most troublesome weeds displacing native plants over vast areas.

This plant has a much softer appearance than the more commonly used Lonicera japonica 'Halliana'.
