Pinus pinea ( Umbrella Pine ) Evergreen, coniferous tree with 6 inch long, needle-like leaves, borne in pairs. Leaves appear singly and blue when young. Female cones are shiny brown with wingless seeds. As the tree matures it becomes dome-shaped.
