Description
Plumbago auriculata is from South America and is relatively fast growing. This perennial shrub grows to a height of 36-48 inches with a width of 30 inches in some cases.

Plumbago zeylanica, or White Leadwort is native to SE Asia. It is a much branched, evergreen shrub that reaches about 6 feet (2 meters) in nature.

Shrub, mounding to 6feet tall, 8-10 feet wide. Showy, 1-inch-wide blue flowers, in 3-4 inch clusters at branch ends blooming from spring to fall.

Plumbago auriculata is native to South Africa and escaped from cultivation. In Florida it is rarely found in the disturbed sites of Hillsborough, Brevard, Martin and Lee counties (Wunderlin, 2003). Plumbago blooms all year.
