Sedum telephium
Dense flower clusters on sturdy stems rise above bright green leaves. Blooms start out blush-colored, aging to coppery pink, then rust as weather cools.
Plants reach 1-to 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Pretty beside asters.

Indian Chief has deep pink flowers. S. telephium can grow up to 2 feet high. It resembles S. spectabile but the leaves are more narrow. It is showy over a long season and dies back over the winter.

Sedum Telephium - This is the most variable Stonecrop. No fewer than twenty forms have received names either as subspecies or as varieties, but our native form is as showy as any.

'Vera Jameson' is a cross between Sedum telephium maximum 'Atropurpureum' and Sedum 'Ruby Glow'. This beautiful sedum adds color to the garden even when not in bloom. New growth shows blue-green leaves that slowly turn a deep burgundy purple foliage.
