Fire Pink
Bright, thin petalled red flowers held above clean, dark green foliage. This great little plant is native to the Mountains of the East Coast. Short-lived, but seeds in freely.

Fire Pink (Silene Virginica) - A brilliant perennial, with flowers bright scarlet, 2 inches across. The somewhat slender stalks lie flat on the soil, and the flowers are borne a few inches above it.
