Daisies or Singles have daisy-like flowers with yellow centers.
Anemones are like single mums but with a rounded crest of deeper color.
Decoratives have double or semi-double flowers and usually grow to over 18 inches tall.

This variety of singleseed juniper called 'Bluestar' boasts beautiful color, low habit and fine dense texture making it an attractive choice for use in rock gardens and as groundcover.

They may be singles or doubles. Some have a cascading habit that makes them more suitable for hanging baskets and window boxes. But most are upright plants that develop into mounds of flowers that are twelve to fifteen inches tall.

This formation has caused some disagreement as to whether these flowers should be classified as singles or doubles-currently they are referred to as "midrib doubles.

"Aphrodite's" blooms are 3 to 4 inch wide singles, rosy pink with magenta throats.

There are two main groups, the Parma violets, with double flowers, and the singles. These latter may be further split up into ‘hardy' for flowering outdoors in winter, and ‘large flowered' for flowering in frames.

Flower shapes vary from daisylike singles through numerous semidouble forms -- all with stamens and petal-like carpels (where the seed grows) showing -- to complex doubles.

A 1 ½-inch stalk emerging from a leaf axil has two flowers that, by fall, may ripen as a pair, but half will ripen as singles.

They are characterized by heart or lance-shaped leaves and flowers that form in singles or threes. Great for hanging pots, rock gardens, and slopes. Requires very little watering. Full sun and fast draining soil provides best growth results.

No other flowering plant can give such a diversity of flowering types - singles, semi-doubles, doubles, peony types and some with pompom centers. Yet others have shaggy flowers, with center petals whorled and twisted.

Ã- hybridus singles, semi-doubles, doubles and anemone-centres), has created interesting hybrids between H. niger and H. thibetanus (called H. 'Pink Ice'), and between H. niger and H. vesicarius (called H. 'Briar Rose').

They are low growing and may produce either singles or clustered flowers.
