About This Plant
Although low-growing varieties are available, the most common veronicas form attractive 1- to 3-foot-tall mounds.

the mulleins (genus Verbascum), the common speedwell (Veronica officinalis), and the butter-and-eggs (Linaria vulgaris).

Hebe is closely related to Veronica (commonly known as speedwell), their flowers are similar. Species from Hebe have been transferred into Heliohebe and Leonohebe, although this has not yet been accepted in the UK.

Icicle Spike Speedwell needs a site in full sun for best flowering performance and where the stems of this taller-than average speedwell will not lodge.
