Swamp Rose Mallow
This shrublike herbaceous perennial is a vigorous grower with large glabrous leaves and 4-5" wide flowers that range from pink to white. The flowers last only for one day, but they appear consistantly until the end of the season.
150 (200)cm, Swamp Rose Mallow is native from lakeshores, swamps and wetlands in the US. Makes ornamental, large pink to pure white cup shaped flowers. For any always moist, very leafy soil in full sun.
The swamp rose mallow is a multi-stemmed, shrub-like herbaceous perennial that grows up to 7 ft (2.1m) tall. It dies back in winter and re-sprouts in spring.
