Mature satsumas and 'Changsha' tangerines can tolerate temperatures as low as 15ºF (-9.4ºC) or lower if they have become cold-acclimated.

Included are the tangerine, citrange, tangelo, orange, pomelo, grapefruit, lemon, lime, citron, and kumquat. Almost all the species bearing edible fruits are small trees native to SE Asia, Indonesia, or Malaysia.

Satsuma is actually a fruit tree that is with the same family of tangerine and oranges all known in botanical world as citrus reticulate.
