Twin Flower (Linnaea) - A little evergreen creeper, L. borealis having slender upright stalks bearing two flowers each, delicately fragrant white, often tinged with pink, and drooping.

Trumpet-shaped lavendar flowers bloom in paired leaf axils. Stems and leaf edges hairy. Flowers: 5-lobed,1 1/2" (4 cm) wide; dark purple spots on lowermost lobe. Leaves: opposite, oval, attached directly to stems.

The species name geminiflora, meaning "twin flowered" is in reference to the flower pairs. The native habitat of Agave geminiflora is oak woodlands at 3,000 to 4,000 feet in the Nayarit, Mexico.
The name Fly Honeysuckle is shared with several other woody honeysuckles with twin flowers. I'm guessing these have become so-named "Fly" because they are pollinated in some places by bee-flies attracted to the famed nectar of the genus.
Twin flowers emerge from a small green cup. The flowers sometimes flare into three, five or six lobes.
Fruit: A shiny red berry with a tiny dimple and star shaped marks.
Habitat: Rich woods.
