Trillium erectum
Wake-robin usually has dark reddish-purple flowers, but occasionally they are white. More rarely, the flowers are pinkish or greenish.

 


or wake-robin(trl´m), any plant of the large genus Trillium, attractive spring wildflowers of the family Liliaceae ( family), native to North America and E Asia.

Our Red Wake-robins were cultivated from stock selected for the brilliant color. These originated in Missouri, & were grown from seed by one our Northwest nurseries that specializes in shade plants & native species.

To herald spring you could have firstly the trillium, or the wood lily, sometimes known as the wake-robin.
