White Clover is the most common clover to produce four-leafed sports. If a four-leafed clover were collected root & all, it can become a regular little dynamo of lucky-clover foliage.

white clover (Trifolium repens) has hairless (i.e. glabrous) stems and leaves. Its white or pinkish-coloured flowers are arranged in globular clusters containing numerous flowers. These clusters are borne on long stalks in the leaf forks (i.e. axils).

White clover is a small, perennial, herbaceous plant, having its stem recumbent on the ground, from which its roots emerge. The leaves are trifoliated, sometimes spotted with white or a darker colored stain.

As I was researching for these plant pages I learned that apparently non-Indian herbalist types now are dissing white clover and lavendar clover, in favor of this red clover I got the pic of.

However, white clover (Trifolium repens, pea family) poisoning, when it occurs, causes cyanotic or estrogenic (hormone) symptoms, especially in swine.
