Antepartum Haemorrhage
Bleeding from the vagina after 28 weeks of pregnancy - can be caused by placenta praevia, placental abruption or minor causes such as post sexual intercourse.

antepartum (antepartal) - refers to the period of time during pregnancy, before labor and birth. "Antepartal" is synonymous with "prenatal".

Antepartum-This refers to the time period of the woman's pregnancy from conception and onset of labor.

Antepartum Hemorrhage - Excessive bleeding occurring after the 28th week of pregnancy. This condition is frequently seen with premature separation of a placenta previa in pregnant women.

Antepartum haemorrhage (APH) is defined as any vaginal bleeding after the 28th week of pregnancy. Even if the bleeding is intermittent and painless it is essential that it is fully investigated.

The antepartum testing records of 953 women seen over a 12-month period were reviewed.

Major antepartum, intrapartum, and neonatal complications were similar in both groups, as were neonatal intensive care unit admissions.

org/ Check out if your hospital has an Antepartum program, or something similar. If they do, you might be able to use their clinic to get IV's and not have to wait in the ER You CAN make it through this if you have the right resources.

Antepartum haemorrhage - you have been bleeding heavily during your pregnancy.
Previous vaginal tear - if you tore badly during a previous labour it may be decided that it would be safer for you to not undergo another vaginal delivery.
