Fifth disease is a common childhood viral infection caused by human parvovirus B-19. It is also known as erythema infectiousum or "slapped cheek disease" because the facial rash resembles slap marks.

Causes: Parvovirus B19.
Symptoms: The illness begins with a bright red rash on the cheeks, followed by a reddish, bumpy, itchy rash on the limbs.

Fibroid (leiomyoma, myoma)

A non-cancerous (benign) growth of fibrous tissue and muscle fibers. Fibroids are often found in the uterus, and occur in about 30% of women over the age of 30.
