Fundal height
The distance from the top of the pubic bone to the top of the pregnant uterus (fundus) in centimeters. The measurement is used to approximate fetal age and growth.

Your provider will check your weight, blood pressure, urine, fundal height, edema, and varicose veins. He or she will also check the fetal heartbeat, size, presentation (head or buttocks first?), position (facing the front or the back?), and descent.
This can be found as your doctor or midwife measures your growing uterus (fundal height) at every visit from about 20 weeks of pregnancy. A discrepancy of greater than two weeks would indicate further investigation.
