glucosuria - glucose in the urine. Glucose is a sugar. Glucose is the major source of energy in the body's cells. Chains of glucose make up sucrose, or table sugar.

 


Glucosuria: Glucose in the urine.
Gonorrhea: Contagious venereal infection, transmitted primarily by intercourse. Caused by the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhea.

GLUCOSURIA / GLYCOSURIA IN PREGNANCY
Often times one of the first signs that there may be a glucose problems is during a regular prenatal visit and the urine is tested for glucose and the test revealing a positive result.

Glucosuria - The presence of glucose in the urine. During pregnancy, glucose levels in the urine may be higher and are not always a reason for worry.

years, body mass index>27 kg m-2, family history of diabetes mellitus in any of first-degree relatives, history of large neonate (4000 g), history of adverse perinatal outcome (two miscarriages, congenital malformation or stillbirth) and glucosuria.

Had gestational diabetes with another pregnancy.
Gave birth to a baby who was very large, had a birth defect, or was stillborn.*
Have too much amniotic fluid.
Have hypertension.*
Have glucosuria* (glucose in your urine).
