What is hydrocephalus?
Hydrocephalus is a condition in which there is excessive fluid in and around the brain.

Hydrocephalus: A congenital birth defect in which excessive fluid gathers in the baby's skull.
Induction: Artificial starting of labor.

HYDROCEPHALUS. When too much 'cerebrospinal' fluid is collected inside the brain, which may cause rapid increase in head size. A lower than normal level of blood calcium.
HYPOGLYCAEIA. Abnormally low blood glucose level.

Hydrocephalus is a relatively rare condition caused by swelling of the fluid-filled cavities in the brain (called ventricles). It is also called "water on the brain" .

Hydrocephalus: Excessive accumulation of fluid around the brain of the baby. Sometimes called water on the brain.
Hyperbilirubinemia: Extremely high level of bilirubin in the blood.

Hydrocephalus
Abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within the ventricles of the brain. It is sometimes known as "water on the brain." Within the center of our brains each of us has two fluid-filled areas called cerebral ventricles.

Hydrocephalus is an excessive buildup of CSF in the brain. CM can block the normal flow of this fluid, resulting in pressure within the head that can cause mental defects and/or an enlarged or misshapen skull.

Hydrocephalus - A defect that affects approximately 1 out every 500 children and can be congenital or developed. Congenital hydrocephalus means that the child was born with the disorder.
