Incomplete Abortion -- A miscarriage where some tissue has bassed but some remains in the uterus.
Incomplete Abortion With an incomplete abortion, some tissue remains behind inside the uterus. These typically present with continuing bleeding, sometimes very heavy, and sporadic passing of small pieces of pregnancy tissue.

Incomplete Abortion - An abortion or miscarriage in which some of the fetus, placenta or membranes remain inside of the uterus and cause heavy bleeding and pain. Generally a portion of the placenta is intact in the uterus and will need to be removed.

Incomplete abortion. Some of the pregnancy tissue has been expelled, while other tissue remains in the uterus. Complete spontaneous abortion.All of the pregnancy tissue is expelled from the uterus. Missed abortion.
In patients with a blighted ovum, missed abortion, inevitable or incomplete abortion, the treatment is a uterine curettage (D&C) - a short surgical procedure which is performed to empty the uterus and remove the pregnant tissue.

The symptoms in this kind of abortion depend on the time on when the miscarriage started. Spontaneous abortion is also called incomplete abortion, if the uterus remains a part in the whole of placenta.
