OBJECTIVE: To assess the impact of prior unilateral or bilateral endometrioma cystectomy on controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) outcome. DESIGN: Retrospective case-control study.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) -- A procedure in which a single sperm is injected into the egg to enable fertilization with very low sperm counts or with non-motile sperm.
