Many pregnant women notice a vaginal discharge in pregnancy. This is most commonly leukorrhea, a normal substance in pregnancy.

Leukorrhea - An abnormal white or yellowish discharge from the vagina that contains mucus and pus. This is often a symptom of an underlying yeast infection, STD or other gynecological condition.

Due to hormone changes and increased vaginal discharge, also called leukorrhea, a pregnant woman is more susceptible to yeast infections. Yeast infections are characterized by a thick, whitish discharge from the vagina and itching.

A thin, milky-white discharge (leukorrhea) is normal throughout pregnancy. Also, the tissues lining the vagina become thicker and less sensitive during pregnancy.

What you are noticing is probably simply leukorrhea -- a mild-smelling milky fluid or discharge, caused by an increased blood flow to the area around the vagina.

Due to hormonal changes, some women may notice white or yellowish vaginal discharge which is called leukorrhea.
Stretch marks start to appear sooner or later by this time, as the skin stretches to accommodate the increasing weight.

It's normal to experience an increase in the amount of leukorrhea (the odorless clear or white mucusy discharge produced by the female body) during pregnancy.

The vaginal secretions increases during pregnancy leads to increased secretion of leukorrhea (the odorless clear/white discharge) and as a result the vaginal secretion increases.

I went to L&D yesterday, thought I was leaking fluid but turns out I have leukorrhea this time around. I did find out that I'm 1/2cm dialated...not much but that's okay. I'm glad that it wasn't time yet...we're not ready yet.

Increased white-colored vaginal discharge (leukorrhea) which may contain more mucus. Backaches may persist and increase in intensity. Hemorrhoids may persist and increase in severity. Varicose veins in the legs may persist and increase in severity.
