yes, this happened to me with my last pregnancy I had something called a missed abortion. The baby stopped developing but my body didn't recognize it I guess you can say.What is even scarier for me was that I seen the heartbeat at 7w and a few days.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2008, then a missed abortion in 2009. In October 2011 a hystero-laproscopy procedure was done and a fundal fibroid was removed from my uterus. I m also detected with Tuberculosis of the uterus.

In medical jargon, a miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion. If the pregnancy is not showing signs of leaving the woman's body, it is called a missed abortion. If signs are evident - that is, pain and bleeding - it is called a threatened abortion.

Missed abortion. The fetus has not developed or has died, but no bleeding or other symptoms are observed, and pregnancy tissue has not been expelled from the uterus.
