Ovarian cycle: Regular production of hormones from the ovary in response to hormonal messages from the brain. The ovarian cycle governs the endometrial cycle.
Ovulation: Cyclic production of an egg from the ovary.

 


Ovarian Cycle - The recurrent sequence of events that takes place in the ovaries, including production and release of the egg, in response to hormone activity.

The ovarian cycle, uterine cycle, and hormonal cycle all control whether or not you conceive every month.
