What is a post-term pregnancy?
A pregnancy that lasts more than 42 weeks (294 days since the first day of the last menstrual period) is considered post-term.

Most full-term babies are delivered some time between 38 and 42 weeks of pregnancy.

Most women deliver between 38 and 42 weeks gestation. About 10% deliver after 42 weeks, which is considered post-term or post-dates.
