Trendelenburg Position - A position in which an individual is laid flat on the back with their feet higher than the head. This position is used during pregnancy when a woman is at risk for delivering the baby prematurely.
Trendelenburg position: the position in which the patient lies on her back with the bed tilted so that her knees and hips are higher than her head. Used to help prevent preterm delivery.
