How can I prevent varicose veins during pregnancy?
Varicose Veins ...

Varicose veins tend to run in families. In fact, about half of all people who have varicose veins have a family history of them. Sitting or standing in one position for a long time may force your veins to work harder to pump blood to your heart.

Varicose veins look like swollen veins raised above the surface of the skin. They can be twisted or bulging and are dark purple or blue in color. They are found most often on the backs of the calves or on the inside of the leg.

Varicose veins can become itchy, uncomfortable, or even painful and are usually found in the legs, genital area, and rectum (hemorrhoids are just a type of varicose veins).
