Adding Annotations to Your Chart
The "ChartNotes" annotation tool is a powerful feature of StockCharts.com and something you won't find anywhere else on the Web. To open the annotation tool, click the Annotate link directly below your chart.
Chart annotations that include %V#n in the annotation text will similarly display V# values using the instrument display format of the instrument associated with the annotation.
I do apologize for all the annotations on the charts. I really do hate a chart crammed with stuff but I want to try to get the basic point across although I am just scratching the surface here.
Even if you are a short term trader, keeping a file with charts and annotations of reasons for entry, trade management, and results is a wonderful teaching tool.
