Bearer Security
This is a bond or a share for which there is no other proof of ownership than the physical possession of the security. No official record or register of ownership is kept, the owner is the "bearer" of the share or bond certificate.
Bearer security.
A security that is not registered in the name of an owner. As a result, it is presumed to be owned by the bearer or the person who holds it.
[OTS] bearer security A security, freely negotiable, that is payable to 'bearer'. [EPA] Security for which the primary evidence of ownership is possession of the certificate.
