Some funds may reduce their sales charges depending on the amount you invest in the fund. At certain thresholds, known as breakpoints, you may receive increasingly lower sales charges as your investment increases.
The currency is expected to break on the upside. The ascending triangle also provides a price objective. Measuring width of the triangle base and then transposing it to the breakpoint calculates this objective.
Predicting the point, at which a price is considered to be breaking through the support line, comes with experience and research. Some will only consider this breakpoint if the price closes 1/8 below the current established support level.
