Confirmation is an important part of our alerts. Naively, if a stock trades at $10.00, then trades at $11.00, this is probably interesting.
Confirmed Letter of Credit
A letter of credit which a bank other than the bank that opened it agrees to honor as though they had themselves issued it.
Bear Confirmed A term used to describe the current condition of a breadth indicator where the point & figure chart is falling (column O’s) below 70% and has generated a p&f sell (by falling below the previous column of 0’s).
Confirmed because the Close Price penetrated Breakout Price

A confirmed arrow means, when the candel above the arrow
has closed and the arrow below that candel is still there.
This means a confirmed LONG arrow.
Don't enter befor the candel has closed because
the arrow could also disappear again.
A confirmed high or low does not imply any further price action in that direction. I view that as a non-event.
An unconfirmed pattern has no further meaning.
Engulfing Bullish
In a downtrend, there is a small black body, not a doji, followed and enclosed by a bigger white body.
Must be confirmed by the Dow Averages, calculated on closing prices only, not the daily high or low (this provides the overall stock market trend)

This trend is confirmed by a bullish candlestick on the third day, a gap above opening on the third day, or a higher close on the third day. This confirmation is required.
The pattern is confirmed when the price breaks out above its moving average. The start of the rounding bottom (its left side) is usually caused by a peak in the downward trend followed by a long price descent to a new long-term low.
Pennant Confirmed Entry - Take out last swing pivot in the pattern. This is a confirmation trade and gives a later entry but it gives you more evidence you're the right side of the market.
Different periods can be used for moving averages. The longer the period, the more confirmed the trend, but the less sensitive it is to sudden price movements.
