The person or persons responsible for managing a partnership or venture capital fund. They make investment decisions, handle day-to-day issues, and are responsible for the debts of the partnership.

 


General partner - The general partner is responsible for all the management decisions of the limited partnership.
The general has a fiduciary responsibility to act on behalf of the limited partners.
