With the stock market stubbornly refusing to settle down and smooth out, Wall Street has been scrambling to come up with "product" they can sell to gun shy investors.
Lifestyle fund A mutual fund that seeks to tailor its investments to an investor's risk tolerance. Lifestyle funds can be based on an investor's chosen risk profile " for example, conservative, moderate or aggressive.
Lifestyle Fund
An investment fund featuring an asset mix determined by the level of risk and return that is appropriate for an individual investor.
Target date fund or lifestyle funds, such as Fidelity Freedom 2015, (FFVFX) are designed with a specific date in mind to maximize returns.
