Measured Move - Bullish (Continuation)
The Measured Move is a three-part formation that begins as a reversal pattern and resumes as a continuation pattern.

 


Measured Move: Price projection obtained by measuring certain dimensions of chart patterns and measuring from the breakout. Measured moves are used to project target prices.

Measured Moves
The measured move lets you estimate how far the next leg of a rally or selloff should carry.

Measured Fixed Fractional Model
Many traders have passed through the experience of giving profits back to the market after a winning period.

When measured in days of Cost of Goods Sold, Cisco's Inventory edged up one day in the most recent quarter. However, the Inventory level is about the same as it was in the year-earlier quarter.

While measured annually, monthly statistics are also released. GDP reflects how fast a country's economy is growing. The U.S. GDP growth has historically averaged about 2.5-3% per year but with substantial deviations.

ADX is measured in a scale from 0-100 with readings above 25 indicating that you are in a trend whilst readings below 25 indicate that you are not in a trend.

The WMA is measured by averaging all the previous values over the given period, (also the ongoing value).

Marc Chaikin measured volatility as the trading range between a securities high and low over a particular period. The indicator is basically a measure of spread between a securities high and lows prices in order to determine volatility.

The stock is measured by the share and you can monitor the price of the share of the share of stock. When the price goes up, you have made money. When it falls, you lost money. It is that simple.

Volatility as measured by ATR is obviously important but daily volatility does not always relate to direction and trendiness.
