Payout period
The time period during which withdrawals from a retirement account or annuity are paid.

Payout Ratio
The amount of earnings paid out in dividends to shareholders. Investors can use the payout ratio to determine what companies are doing with their earnings.
Expense guarantee: Guarantee by an insurer that expense factors will not change during the payout period on an annuity.
If the cash value is left in the account during the payout period, payments will vary with the underlying performance of the securities.
Vesting
To have a non-forfeitable right to an allocated portion of an account ownership.
