Scale:
This option allows you to select the type of y-axis used for a chart. The two options available are linear and logarithmic. In a logarithmic scale, the distance between each unit of distance reflects an equal percentage change.

Chart Scales: Arithmetic and Logarithmic
Most charts display price intervals on the vertical axis and time intervals on the horizontal axis.
A pay scale is a document or table designed to determine how much an employee will earn in his or her job. Many companies have a pay scale set up before hiring new employees, which they show to prospective employees before hiring them.
Economy of Scale - This is the possible cost advantages a company gets through expansion. And it will amount to ways its production costs per unit will go down in the process. Thus resulting in a more efficient and profitable type of production cost.
Arithmetic Scale
In the Forex market, the arithmetic scale is the most appropriate chart to shows price changes in time because the market doesn't show large percentage increases or decreases in the exchange rates.

Scale Settings
High points and low points appear to line up better for trend lines when prices are displayed using a semi-log scale. This is especially true when long-term trend lines are being drawn or when there is a large change in price.
Scale Trading - A Systematic Approach

Scale Down (or Up): To purchase or sell a scale down means to buy or sell at regular price intervals in a declining market. To buy or sell on scale up means to buy or sell at regular price intervals as the market advances.
Scale Order
A type of order that comprises several limit orders at incrementally increasing or decreasing prices. If it is a buy scale order, the limit orders will decrease in price, triggering buys at lower prices as the price starts to fall.

A scale that Inertia is measured on is from 0 to 100. If the indicator is below 50 the Inertia is seen to be negative. Positive Inertia is supposed to have the indicator above 50.

Variable Time Scales

The Stochastic Oscillator is made up of two lines that oscillate between a vertical scale of 0 to 100. The %K is the main line and it is drawn as a solid line. The second is the %D line and is a moving average of %K.
