Standard Error
The distance between the price of a security and Linear Regression Trendline gives the basis to measure Standard Error. The trend is as strong, as close the price is to the Linear Regression Trendline.

Standard Error of the Estimate (SEE)
A measure of absolute fit. One can use this measure to compare the last portion of this model with another portion of the same dependent variable.

Standard error
In statistics, a measure of the possible error in an estimate. Plus or minus 2 standard errors usually provides a 95% confidence interval.

Standard Error Channels are calculated by plotting two parallel lines above and below an x- period linear regression trend line. The lines are plotted a specified number of standard errors away from the linear regression trend line.
