COCOCCIOLA: Has synonym name Cacciola. Reported as a variety that may be added to the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo white wine blend. Once regarded as a well-respected variety in the Abruzzi region of Italy.
Other white grapes of the region include Passerina, Pecorino, Biancame, Cococciola, whereas red grapes, even though in limited quantities, include Sangiovese, Aglianico and Canaiolo Nero.
