A term used to describe the body or color of a wine. A light wine is usually easy to drink and not high in alcohol. Muscadet is a light white wine. Beaujolais is an example of a light red wine.

Mature
Ready to drink.

SOFT: Describes wines low in acid and/or tannin. Usually an easy drinking wine, and can be quite fruity.
SOUR: Similar to TART in sensation, but usually imparts more of a green or underripe fruit quality, than by acids.

Gulpable: Light and refreshing and, well, easy to drink. Not usually applied to the fancier line of wines.
Hay: Similar to "grass," only more so.

The skills are easy to learn and anybody can become a good taster if they want. With the few basic techniques outlined here, you can take the first steps in the tasting process, which leads to a better appreciation and enjoyment of wine.
