GOLDEN CHASSELAS: Known under the name Chasselas Doré in France where it is mainly grown as a table grape. Highly respected in Switzerland where it has a long history as the Chasselas in the Savoie region.
In France and Spain Palomino is commonly known as Listan, in Spain also as Alban, Temprana or Tempranilla, in Portugal as Perrum, in South Africa as White French and in California wrongly named as Golden Chasselas.
