LISTAN: Red wine grape now sparsely grown in France. Known as Palomino in Spain and South Africa. Used mainly to produce fortified wines in those countries.
This white grape is the Listan (d'Andalousie) from Spain and should not be confused with the red grape recorded much earlier in historical records as Palomino Commun.
