MONDEUSE: (a.k.a Mondeuse Noir). Minor grape grown in the Savoie region of France. Usually blended with wine made from the Altesse grape to make the white wine known as "Roussette de Savoie".

 


BURGEROnce thought to be identical with the obscure french grape known as Monbadon this variety, used for white wine production, is mostly to be found planted in the Central Valley of California, USA where it is mainly used for blending.
