Periquita (red)
This is widely grown in southern Portugal, aka Castelão Francês, where it makes fruity reds sometimes with a gamey edge to them.
Petit and Gros Manseng (white) ...

PERIQUITA: Alias name for Castelão Francês grape where grown in the Estremadura region of Portugal. Makes popular, robust red wine.

Castelão Francês is a dark red grape that used to be better known as Periquita until one producer managed to patent the name as his own (but as it means literally a little parrot this may not be altogether entirely surprising).

CASTELÃO FRANCÊS: Red-wine grape grown in the Ribatejo and other regions of southern Portugal. Has synonym name of Periquita where grown in the Estremadura region nearby and (reportedly) Trincadeira in the Alentejo region.

Another interesting wine region of Portugal is Alentejo, located in the southern part of the country, where are mainly produced red wines with the grapes Periquita, Aragonez, the name used in this region to refer to Tempranillo, and Trincadera Preta.
