Tazzelenghe is a red Italian wine grape variety from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy. The grape is predominantly found in the Colli Orientali del Friuli Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC).

 


TAZZELENGHE: Red wine producing variety found in N.E Italy. Has synonym name Tacelenghe. Used for making a tannic varietal with moderate aging ability and also used in blends that include some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tocai Friulano, Verduzzo Friulano, Picolit, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Schioppettino, Pignolo and Tazzelenghe are considered autochthonous grapes of Friuli Venezia Giulia, whereas Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia d'Istria, ...
