Wine Traditional Speciality GuaranteedTraminer

Trajadura is a white grape used in Vinho Verde, where is appreciated for its fuller flavour. Known as Treixadura, when grown in North West Spain.

Generally these white wines are produced with Alvarinho, Trajadura, Loureiro and Pedernã grapes. The slight effervescence in these wines is usually because of the presence of carbon dioxide added just before being bottled.

Widely grown in Portugal and used in the production of "vinho-verde" wines, along with others such as the Trajadura. Recommended rootstock is the 1103-P for good phylloxera and moderate nematode resistance, plus drought tolerance.

Widely grown in Portugal where the fruit is used in the production of white "vinho-verde" wines, along with others such as the Trajadura.
