Has several synonym names in the Bourgogne (Burgundy) AOC regions of France, eg: in the Cõte Chalonnaise, Chaudenet Gras; in Rully, Giboudot Blanc; around Beaune, Griset Blanc; in Meursault, Plant Gris; and in the Yonne (ie: Chablis), Troyen Blanc.
