WEINSTRASSE: (Vine-strass-uh)
Wine road in Germany. A tourist route that connects many wineries in a given area. Following a Weinstrasse is an excellent way to spend part of your vacation in any wine country.
Nevertheless, starting in the more northerly region known as the Mittelhardt or Deutsche Weinstrasse, many of the vineyards and producers are located a stone's throw from those of Rheinhessen, slightly further north.
